About Moto Horizon

Hey, I’m Marco – born and raised in Germany. I first fell in love with motorcycles at 18. The speed, the freedom, the adrenaline – it was everything. But just two years later, I gave it up. One of my best friends lost his life in a motorcycle accident, and that moment changed everything. I chose to focus on my studies, and because money was tight, I sold my beloved GSX-R 750 K4.

Since then, life took me around the world. I spent over a year in Brazil, eight years in China, and my work kept me constantly on the move. The most meaningful experiences? Backpacking. Traveling light, meeting people, immersing myself in cultures. But over time, my travels became more distant, more disconnected – more anonymous.

That’s when I made a bold decision:

 

I’m getting back on two wheels.

This time, I’m riding to reconnect – with people, places, and the road itself. I'm not just traveling anymore. I’m exploring. I’m going off-road. Into the wild. To the places no bus or plane will take you. Just me, my bike, and the unknown.

Riding gives me freedom. Flexibility. Purpose.
And now – after 17 years off the bike – I’m jumping headfirst into the world of adventure motorcycling. From total beginner to seasoned pro, I want you to join me on this wild ride.
